First, Thank You!

Sencond, No. I will get your membership dog tag ordered on Monday of next week and I'll check with dpdsurf, your Chapter Club Contact, to see if there are anymore "tag-toting" members that need dog tag orders placed.

Good luck with the coverage this weekend. I don't see how you guys do it. MAD PROPS!!

(tell everyone there, I said "Hi')

Later.

I just registered on the site and am awaiting the confirmation thing. How do we know who our chapter contact is? Is there one in Socal? I would like to be a member, but am not entirely clear on how to do so other than paying the fee.

this sounds awesome Parker! can't wait to compete in some more events and hopefully rack up some points!

Del Montess, currently, there are no RECON So-Cal Chapters. That may change and if it does, the Chapter Club info will be posted.

For now, memberships are available at http://www.reconcrawlers.com/

As soon as Spucknit recieves your information, you'll start enjoying all the incentive programs and perks that being a R.E.C.O.N. tag-toting member enjoys.

Good luck in the R.A.S. series and remember,

Adventure has a name.................R.E.C.O.N.

What an exciting weekend of competition. There were clubs all over the country starting thier winter points series, thier 2010 points series and even a R.E.C.O.N. Chapter Club, WNYRCRC, out of Buffalo, NY; had thier Finals over the weekend.

Congratulations is in order for the top 3 O.A. finishers of thier series:

2. Raceaholic 476
3. Dave Phair 470

The R.A.S. updates have been made. Those drivers that have not submitted your weekend results, need to do so, to validate your hard earned points.

Another weekend of comps is knocking at the door. To those drivers seeking the elusive "RECON ELITE" driver shirt, good luck, I can't wait to award the very first driver this honor.

To those drivers competiting in a dbl header, (that's two different comps in a weekend. i.e. NCVRCC's comp at Ororville, CA on Sat. and CCRC's comp at Auburn, CA on Sun.), good luck and ah heck, who cares how you finish, ya'll are already "sum lucky someb!tches" for being able to comp all weekend long.

Remember to get your R.A.S. results posted as soon as possible for score updates. The updates and the weekend report will be posted Mon.

If your traveling to comps, drive careful. Now answer the damn door and go throw down that crawler and...(wait for it)...

DO WORK, DRIVER!

Adventure has a name...............R.E.C.O.N.

ATTENTION:

R.A.S. series competitors, The end of October is among us. Please make sure you post your comp results for the month of October to validate them.

Also, the end of October is the deadline for R.A.S. competitors, who are not members, to become members and qualify for the Members awards. You may become a member at anytime, but all 'tag-toteing" (paid) members that join Nov.1 or later, are not eligible for the R.A.S. members awards. They will be competiting for the "non-member" awards.

Speaking of R.A.S. Awards, (this is my favorite part), Thanks to all the interest in the R.E.C.O.N. Adventure Series, the awards will be enrichened throughout the series. Prizes will be added for members and non-members, alike. A big "THANKS" to all the drivers.

Memberships are optional; FUN IS FREE. We want all the R.A.S. competitors to have fun, support your local clubs, and travel to nearby clubs and support them. The adventure of r/c crawling comps is not just about the compitition, it's the trip to an event, finding out the one of your fellow crawlers is a chef and can cook like no other, or which driver just "killed' the bathroom and now is snoring soooo loud, the hard mounted hotel pictures just fell off the wall.

Thank you and remember...

Adventure has a name...............R.E.C.O.N.

Wow! After a double header weekend, I am spent. But I am ready for another one. Sharing travel time and comp time with some of the greatest friends, competitors, and just generally good people, in my book, is second to none.

Great job, R.A.S. competitors. The weekend of Oct. 24th and 25th was an exciting one.

Weekend Winner Honors go to the following drivers:

Brian Parker. Parker won NCVRCC's comp 6 at the Hatchery.
Daniel Flemming. Daniel won CCRC's TWISTED Winter Series rnd 1 at Confulence.

Podium Honors go to:
Amer Sahtout. Amer finished 2nd at NCVRCC's comp 6 at the Hatchery and 3rd at CCRC's Twisted Winter Series rnd 1 at Confluence.
Dan Bonvicin. Dan finished 3rd at NCVRCC's comp 6 at the Hatchery.

Once again, Thank you to all the R.A.S. Competitiors that supported thier local comps and / or travelled to comps. R.E.C.O.N. is proud of all the drivers in the R.A.S. series for the support of the r/c crawling competitions in or out of their area.

It as amazing to see that there is a handful of drivers that have 6 comps in less than a month! R.E.C.O.N. stands up and applaudes your dedication to the adventure that we call competition.

Here are the current standings. RECON scorekeepers are patiently waiting for more results to be submitted.
