Another great weekend of r/c crawling. I have been under the weather, my luck it's pig flu, that would explain my sneezes sounding like, "sssuuuuueeeeyyyyyy". But pig flu, bird fever, or crocidillian crotch rot would stop this kid from compin'. Congrats to all the R.A.S. Drivers who comped this weekend. Some results are in and the scores have been updated. We actually have several drivers that already have 7 comps under their belt, but don't let that discourage you, quanity is good, but quality is better. Keep doing work, drivers, the 2010 season is quickly approaching and with that means some of our favorite big comps coming up. For instance, Motorama, ECC, and there's more, but the meds are affecting my memory. Here is the link for the updates: http://www.reconcrawlers.freeforums....ings-t103.html |

There a lot of great local area comps and not so local, comps going on this weekend. Drivers, "DO WORK". Keeping with the theme of November, Thanksgiving and all, to those drivers attending comps, be sure to thank the local club or the organizer and all the volunteers and let's not forget about the judges. Give them a big "Thank You". Their award winning attitude and selflessness is what enables you as drivers to showcase your skills. From me to all of you, THANK YOU. Everyone drive careful and good luck. -Parker |

The R.A.S series has shown that the spirit of competition in the r/c crawling community is not only growing, but one of the best in competitor comadary out there. I have personally seen drivers that remove parts off their own comp crawler and let a competitor use it so that the competitor can finish their runs. That is the definition of the spirit of competition. I want to thank everyone that participated in the inaugural RAS series. With any first of it's kind there were some speed bumps and we have learned a lot. The drivers will always be the back bone of our competitions, but the organizers of local comps, big events, and National events are the soul of our sport. Please continue to support your local clubs and the sponsors of our sport. We look forward to another great RAS series with bigger rewards, easier driver tabulations, and greater tracking abilities. Here is a link to the top 10 overall RAS series finishers: http://www.reconcrawlers.freeforums....ults-t518.html Congrats to the inaugural RECON Adventure Series Champion, Team Losi driver Jake Wright. Great driving Jake and keep up the Hall of Fame year you are having. See everyone at the 2010 Axial West Coast Championships! |

Thanks for getting the scores up Brian and Congrats to Jake. Also looks like there are a few scores that are wrong with my score.

Note: My deepest apologies to B. Crofts, I overlooked three NBRCC scores he posted and that has shuffled the top 5 order. I would like to extend my apology to the drivers that moved down on the podium, as well. I still can't believe how close the points race was. Unbelievable!

Good luck to you and Jess at the 2010 AWCC. Your welcome Brian and we are working on a scoring system that tracks "ALL" drivers. I do apologize again and good luck at the 2010 AWCC. | |
