R.E.C.O.N. G6 Challenge™ “L.O.S.T.” Legend of Snowshoe Thompson

The G-Train is fueled and the G-Crew is double checking all boarding passes because we are going to get L.O.S.T.; that is, lost in the Legend of Snowshoe Thompson. Who is Snowshoe Thompson, you ask? Well, that is for you to find out, but if Rockstar Energy Drink was around then, I'm pretty sure that he would be sponsored by them and drive an Axial SCX-10 Dingo, one the official trucks of the RECON G6 Challenge.

When: Saturday September 17^th, 2011

Where: Exact location will be announced 24hrs prior to stage start time. Lower Blue lakes campground will be G-Home for Friday night and Saturday night.*

Tech: 0930hrs to 1000hrs. All G-Rides will be impounded and those that do not pass tech will receive a time penalty.

Start Time: Stages will start immediately after the National Anthem. No late starts.

What: 3 stage Official RECON G6 Challenge™ featuring some of the best scale terrain in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Classes: 1.9 G-Rides. 2.2 Axial Wraiths & G-Rides welcomed.

G-Lunch: Sierra Nevada cuisine.

G-Fee: $20

• Note: Camping is available at from Upper Blue Lakes all the way thru Lower Blue Lakes. The G-Crew will be lost somewhere in between the two.

L.O.S.T. G6 G-Ride requirements:
- 1.9 & 2.2 scale tires only. Must meet G6 guidelines for scale tires.
- A minimum of 10 scale items attached to vehicle.
- Mandatory tow strap. This item will be used during each stage.
- Winch is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Sand ramps are not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A spare tire is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A scale pair of skis, snowshoes, or a snowboard is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A scale burlap or similiar bag 3 to 4 inches in length and 2 inches wide is not mandatory, but highly recommended and must be functional and attached to G-ride.
- G6 Online Challenge coming soon. This challenge is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

L.O.S.T. G6 Stage previews;
- The Main Stage will be a 190+/- TM (trail markers) and will send drivers on an adventure that a legend would be proud of.
- The first Sub Stage will be a 50+/- TM and a driver can expect mandatory skill sections along with several check points and some unique stage adventures.
- The second Sub Stage will be a 50 +/- TM and an optional time bonus for those drivers that meet the requirement. There will also be a mandatory skill sections and unsurpassed adventure.
- Start Alley will have drivers starting 3 at a time from the start box and then off to their assigned stage for unsurpassed adventure.
