A little G6 History and foresight. One of the OG scaler's complaints about scale comps was the dis-advantage that leaf sprung scalers had compared to the 3 and 4 link supension set ups. Hence, scale points was supposed to off set this. (yeah, right).

The RECON G6 Challenge took this into cosideration, leaf sprung scalers, 3 or 4 link scalers, 6x6's, and 8x8's, (I'm waiting for you, Highlucks),all have a playing field where the drivers make the difference.

Our first G6 Challenge winner was Rhett Mora. Rhett is truely an OG scaler and he drove a tlt axled Hilux that was leaf sprung on all four corners to the top of the podium and into the G6 History Book. Proving, that a leaf sprung scaler is capable of doing well when a driver knows their rig.

Proving that the RECON G6 is about a Driver's ability and a their scalers capability.

Bender drove his 6x6 at the Gamblers Paradice G6 in Las Vegas and even though he dominated the hill climbs; the wheelbase was a huge disadvantage in tight sections, But DAMN, was cool as hell to see a 6x6 doin' work in a G6.

Rhett even drove his 6x6 in a G6 Challenge, but found out like Bender did about the give and take of a third drive axle.

Halfcab, wish you could make this one, I have a feeling the Shaka, Brah Classic G6 is gonna make history!!!!
