RECON G6 CHALLENGE
“Shaka, Brah Classic”

The G-Train is being fitted with pontoons and the G-Crew is going to make a splash with the “Shaka, Brah Classis” G6. We are headed to Hawaii and we are bringing mad G6 aloha to the Paradise of the Pacific.

ALLLLLLLLLL ABOARD, the G-Train is paddling out and we’re going to ride the biggest nalu straight to the sunny beaches of fun.


What - Shaka, Brah Classic G6
When - Saturday March 31 to Sunday April 1
Where - Island of O’ahu, (exact location will be announced 48 hrs prior to stage start)

Tech – 0930hrs to 1000hrs, G-rides will be impounded after tech.
Start Time – will follow the National Anthem

G-Fess - $10 plus one pot luck dish for Saturday night HRCC ‘aina ahaihi. (dinner)

G-Dinner – HRCC pot luck dinner w/ a special guest chef!

Camping is free at the location and encouraged. (no reservations needed)

Stage Description – The Shaka, Brah Classic G6 will feature 3 Stages.

Stage 1 will be 200+/- trail markers that will test Driver and G-Ride Hawaii Style.
Stage 2 will be 200+/- trail markers night stage. Under the mahina and hoku’s of O’ahu, G6’ers will be put to the test and hope they don’t run into any Night Marchers, http://www.to-hawaii.com/legends/night-marchers.php

Shaka, Brah Classic G-Ride requirements

- 1.9 or 2.2 tires. Tires must meet G6 guidelines for scale tires.
- a minimum of 8 scale items.
- 3 of the 8 scale items must be Hawaiian in nature. For example, fishing poles, snorkel, tikis, or leis.
- a tow strap is mandatory
- a winch is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- sand ramps are not mandatory, but highly recommend.
- a spare tire is mandatory.
- a scale surfboard mounted on your G-Ride is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Flip Flops are not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A scale trash bag is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- lights are not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- one pineapple per driver is mandatory and must be turned in at tech.
- Drivers Meeting Challenge is not mandatory, but highly recommended and will be posted at a later date.

A Driver may sign up to run a 1.9 class and a 2.2 class. There is no additional G-Fee, but make sure you run your primary class first, in case the stage time expires during your second class.
