I heard tib bits and I hope everyone is ok, but most of us have sat for hours on Cadilac, so now what, a guard rail or more paving, because the responsibilty could never fall on the driving or lack there of.

"THAT STATEMENT IS SARCASTIC AND MEANT TO OPEN THE EYES OF THOSE THAT CAN'T TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS".

My prayers go out to the friends and family and wheelers on scene who do what wheelers do to help each other and to the victims. Heal quick and God Speed.

Is Placerville the only way in?? Fallon to Placerville then to Loon Lake?
or could I go
Fallon to Carson, south lake Tahoe, pollock vines, then go North from hwy50 to Loon Lake?

I'm sorry I am coming in late on this topic about the crash on the con, but I don't want miss information out there. There has been a ton of discussion about it on Pirate, but most of it is b.s. If you want the whole story you wont get it here. The victim has a Facebook page that her mother is keeping up to date and many people are relaying parts of the story that are incorrect.

I know as RC enthusiasts we don't think about land access issues as much as 1.1 guys, but be careful what you put out in the world because the greenies will use it against us.

The woman is young and has serious injuries and they have started a foundation to help with the costs.

The trail was closed at Cadillac for a few days, but I've ran it since and it is open.

I have spoken to one of the members here and he tried to get a site near the comp, but they were sold out. Parker said that everyone from the G6 is camping above the spillway or past the spillway. It is an unemproved area with only an outhouse near. It will be very busy, but you can find a clear spot and pitch a tent. The Rubicon has an easment of 50 feet (25 feet from the center of the trail in either direction) that you can camp. So if you show up I'm sure someone will be able to point out a spot where you can camp. If you are not driving a four wheel drive you may just have to pack your gear in a short distance.
