Chrisdontcare, yes. It will be the 19th and is one of the favorite local G6's of the year.

The Oct G6 is usually at Rock Park, which does not have camping. Not sure if this year will be at Rock Park or a new location, but we will be able to find you a camp spot somewhere.

Or, you might consider a hotel room. Lots of NorCal guys share rooms to cut costs. A campspot in Washoe Valley at Davis Creek Campground is $20 I think. They are open year round.

Another popular option is the Nugget. It has an indoor pool and huge arcade for the kids and is just down the street.

Thanks for all the input… I looked into the Davis creek camping and I found a buddy who's gonna join in on the event so were gonna get a hotel room been reading the reviews online and I'm trying to make the trip as cheap as possible (I know I'm a cheapskate) read bad reviews on the motel 6 then read good reviews on the super8 and the rates for a two bed room is doable any input on the super8? I believe is reserved in advance it was like $75

I don't think the RV park at Rock Park is for camping. I think it's more of a permanent living park. I could be wrong. Wouldn't hurt to call and check.

I got a buddy who's going to come join in on Oct19 so were going to split a hotel room. Read some reviews on the cheaper hotels and the motel 6 was the cheapest but bad reviews next was the super 8 and it had hit and miss reviews anyone stayed at the super 8?

I have, but not in Reno. My experience with Super 8 has been fine. I hope this helps.

Circus circus usually has pretty cheap and clean rooms. The closest to rock park is the nugget. I stayed at days inn on wells once and it was decent. Western village in sparks is pretty reasonable and clean too.

Rock park does have camping at the rv park.... However id stay in a hotel room if it was me....

It is held at a campground, so prepare like you are camping for three days.
