2013 RECON G6 & RECON Terra-X Event Schedule

Ya so the first Canadian G6 was some kind of awesome!! Thanks Parker and crew and Average Joe's in Niagara for probably my best day RCing ever!!! Team Socrawl.com was out in blue, helping everyone with a tug, push or directions. Finishing this G6 was sweet!!!

97gmctruck, The Fix starts Friday at 9:00pm. The Cure starts Saturday at noon for stage 1 and dusk for stage 2.

Any idea what the schedule will be like for the Cantina G6? Company I work for will have a booth there and I'm trying to figure out if I will have time for both or if the G6 will be an all day thing?

I'm looking forward to attending my first g6 in the near future and have read the rules and regs but my question is to what extent can a trail repair be made? Like a stripped gear, broke tierod end drive shaft ect, ect, and do these parts have to be carried on the rig or can I be packing the parts? O and looking to be in the 2.2 class, any info would be nice thanks

just carry spares on/in your backpack. they don't have to be on truck/rig.

I stripped a spur gear at the rockbeast blues and pulled over to the side and did the repair right there on the spot. fix it and keep moving.

Chris,

Finishing a RECON G6, is like Winning a RECON G6. We want everyone to finish a stage, so any repair can be made. If you have the tools and parts to make the repair on stage, do so. If the breakage is beyond an on stage repair, take your scaler back to your pits and complete the repairs. Afterwards, return back to the location of the breakdown and continue on your adventure.

So I see the next g6 is oct 12 in bend Oregon is there still going to be one on oct 19 in Reno? That's the one we were going to try to make it to. I also noticed that the dates seem to differ from the original schedule that's posted on here and thoes even differ from the dates on the fb events page… can't wait for my first g6 been preparing and testing for the last month… any input would be nice thanks
