While none of us STL guys have ever competed in a G6 before, we've been practicing on trail runs by trying to use a "no touch" rule whenever. It really changes your line of thinking. Driving stupid over a simple root in the ground can result in a rollover and waste your time (as well as a buddies because he has to pull you back over). It made it very satisfying to cross difficult terrain. Many times we had to daisy chain 3 trucks to help someone over an obstacle.

I put a new Timbuk 2 system into the dually and now I see water. Guess I'll putting it into a balloon when I get down there.

I know a few of our guys are heading down Friday night, but I will be there about 9 am on Saturday. I can't freaking wait! These days at work are taking forever.

If your there by 10am it's perfect. Driver Check in will be begin around then. It will be announced.

No. The front parking/camping areas will be open. The G6 area is closed until the Stage 1 start time. The area is awesome. Various trail conditions will be encountered and there may even be a bounty hill!

Yes. There will be plenty of areas to park near G-Central. It is a first come, first serve parking area.

In between stages, there is a resturant, K's Sport Grill less than 2 miles away. I have intel that there food is awesome!

If you get off on I-55 at Double OO / Double DD, follow the "Custom Differential Signs to the park. It's real easy. There may be pink ribbon, as well, to help guide G6'ers to the location.

Bring plenty of water!

Stage 2, the night stage will start at night fall, aprx 8:45pm +/-

I am effing stoked! I had no idea of the terrain, this is insane terrain and to the training wheel class...be scuurred, be very scurred! You all will have your own pull sled and various 2.2 only sections.

I look forward to seeing everyone getting their scaler fix, in Missouri's first RECON G6!

11:00am +/- Drivers Meeting
Stage 1 Start Time...Aprx 1130am after National Anthem
Stage 2 Start Time...Aprx 0845pm
G6 Awards Ceremony / Finishing Prizes after Stage 2 has closed.

RECON G6 Intel
- A tow strap is mandatory
- A winch is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- 10 scale items are mandatory.
- 5 scale “Blues” musical items are not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Pit Bull Tires scale window sticker or door stickers are not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Sand Ramps are not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A scale “trash-a-roo” or burlap bag is not mandatory, but highly recommended. Bag must be usable.
- - Having a scale mascot of Parker’s home town high school is not mandatory, by highly recommended.

Stage Intel
- 300+/- Trail Markers.
- Two Stages.
- A Show Me Scalers RC Offroad Club sled pull. In addition, G6’ers will face the Bautista Terror!
- Driver and Driving Challenges.
- Adventure.
- Classes - 1.9 Adventurist / 2.2 Adventurist
- G-Fee - $25.00
- RECON Terra-X - $20.00 first class, $10.00 additional class. Register using pay pal and get a second class free.
