RECON G6 “Dia de los Muertos” at the 2013 Cantina for the Con.

100% of last year’s G-Fees were donated to the RTF for the continued efforts to keep the Rubicon Trail opened and maintained. Thank you to the G6’ers and their families who made our contribution possible.

Scale adventure on the Rubicon Trail does not get any better than the RECON G6 Cantina for the Con. Last year’s G6’ers started and finished to the roar of several hundred 4 wheeling enthusiasts that attended the Cantina for the Con. The Rubicon Trail Foundation, Rubicon Trail Foundation is welcoming back the G6 Family for more fun and excitement on the granddaddy of all off-road trail. But you don’t need a four wheel drive to join us. The RECON G6 and the RTF’s biggest fund raiser of the year is held at the Loon Lake spillway. Last year vendors lined both sides of the spillway and the cantina served several hundred pounds of tacos to the four wheel drive community during the event. The G-Crew was no stranger to the food line and the salsa verdi was the best I’ve ever had. Come out and join us for epic terrain that includes monolithic granite, creeks, ledges, and amazing traction.

Driver's Meeting - 11:30am
Start Time - Following the National Anthem.

Dia de los Muertos Intel

- 3 “Day of the Dead” scale items is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Sand ramps and/or a winch is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Face painting or South of the Border attire is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- One frijole attached to your scaler / G-Ride is not mandatory, but Highly recommended.
- Camping is not mandatory, but highly recommended. The G-Crew will be camping Friday & Saturday night. Everyone is welcome to join us for one of both nights.
