RECON G6 “Swine Swagger” September 28, 2013

“Soooey, Sooo, Sooo, Soooey”! The G-Train is headed back to the South and teaming up again with Roland Rockshop, https://www.facebook.com/RolandRockshop and Superlift ORV Park, Superlift ORV Park in Hotsprings, Arkansas to bring the RECON G6 back to Hot Springs, AR.

The G-Crew is excited and this is the last Southern stop of 2013. If you haven’t gotten your scaler fix, in a RECON G6; fly, drive, ride, sail, twerk, jog, hitchhike, take a bus, train, or tunnel your way to the Swine Swagger RECON G6. You don’t want to miss one of last year’s favorite G6 events and this year we have company. The 14th Annual Oklahoma Classic Bronco Round Up is going to be subjected to G6’ers getting their swagger on, swine swagger to be exact!

Swine Swagger Intel

- 5 scale items a pig farmer would have is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A scale pig is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Wearing overalls or piggy pajamas or suiting up as a swine to get your “swine swagger” is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A spare tire is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Sand ramps and/or a winch is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

You can fly Alegiant Air from vegas to Shrevport, la for cheap, then rent a car or catch a ride to hot springs.

Southwest Airlines flies from Vegas to Little Rock. Only an hour drive from LR to Hot Springs.

RECON TerraCross Race Intel

The race of races is back. The RTX is too much fun, but don't take my word for it, experience a race that changes the way racers look at racing.

What is it? The RTX is a race featuring several types of terrrain, obstacles, and challenges.

What can race? Anything and everything. Classes are broke down by tire size and types of trucks. Any 1.9 tire scaler can race. Any 2.2 Tire scaler can race. Short Course trucks and EXO's and Twin Hammers can race.

How many Make a Class? Five of any one type will have a separate class. If not, classes get combined and race at the same time, but scored separately.

How many Heats and Mains? An RTX is not like your normal racing. The RECON TerraCross is 3 Heats. Your combined score of each heat determines the winner and overall placing.

How long is each Heat? That varies per class & course.

How long between Heats to prep for the next heat? 15 - 30 minutes.

Can I race multiple classes? Yes and it's encouraged.

Are there corner marshals? Yes and No. Yes there are, but remember, the RTX is not normal racing. Anyone can go fast and crash and rely on a track rat to flip you over. In the RTX you are expected to drive. That mean, you may have to flip yourself back over, if need be. So drive smart. Have fun.

Racer Check-In - Saturday 1:00pm
Drivers Meeting - 1:30 pm
Heat 1 Starts 15 mins after drivers meeting concludes.
