I have a couple question, my stepson wants to try out scale competitions and he is going to use my truck at the upcoming G6 at Motorama, can there be two drivers to one truck? If not, can I walk with him and give him advice?

I dont think anyone would give you any grief about sharing a truck. It really is a casual/relaxed atmosphere.

As far as durability goes, I'd try my best to at least get steel transmission gears on an Axial. The rest of the stock drivetrain really is pretty tough. Next would be steering and links.

I have and Axial Wraith and just heard that there will be G6 coming to Grants Pass April 2nd. Do I really need 10 scale accessories and a scale duck? I have tow chains does that count for a tow strap? Never have done a competition before so I have no clue. Any advice would be great.

Hello, I'm interested in attending a G6 event thats coming to a place thats about a 9 hour drive for me. I had a few questions about the event. is there a place to go to find all the guide lines the truck needs to fall into? I just don't want to showup and have a rig thats not ready for an event thats 9 hours away.

I'm talking more about the rig it self, the rig would be Axial scx10 based, would it need to have stock frame rails? is there mods that are limited? I dont have a problem adding more scale items. current scale items, winch, hi lift jack, tow strap with a land anchor, headlight ect.

For a RECON G6, there are only 2 major classes....1.9 and 2.2 class. Beyond that it is pretty much wide open. Doesn't even need to be Axial. Tow strap is the only mandatory scale item.

Bring your tools, batteries, and any spare parts you think you'll need. Basically bring everything you bring on a normal fun run.

Do check the G6 event intel and that will give you a good overview and any specifics you need to know.

Ok thanks just wanted to make sure the truck would work.

I'm the over packing guy. that shows up with what looks like a hobby store packed in his truck lol

One a normal trail run I have 3 rigs the one I'm driving, one on my pack and one at the vehicle. plus enough spare parts in my pack to fix rigs. I'm the go to guy on the trail when rigs brake with our group.

Thanks Again!!!!!

Any intel on 2017 schedule? I'm moving back to northern Alabama.

If Parker is looking for ideas, then maybe G6 will find its way to Tennessee (Chattanooga) or Alabama (Bucks Pocket SP).

I've got a question in regards to the different classes. They are based on rim size rather than tire size. Whats to stop someone running a 4.5' tire on 1.55? There are also tons of 1.9 tires that are sub 4'. It seems like it would be rather simple to go against the spirit of the different classes.

Few quick questions

I was just looking at the motorama event rules and the way I was reading hem I had a hard time telling if the KLR was allowed to run in the competition. As an Ottsix Team driver this may affect my decision on attendance.

Do I have to run a 1.9 wheel if my tires are in spec?

Extreme scale class is where I believe I would fall.

I just want to make sure I would fall into the rules before spending the cash on the weekend.

Hey Parker , could you let me know the date you will be in Missouri out at Flat Nasty Off Road Park for your Recon G-6 event in 2017 ?
Or the best link/way to find all events your planning close to the state. I seen a few in alArkansas and Indiana , Illinois possibly. So the reason I'm asking you is I did hear you would be in Missouri but it's not on any list/flyer I have come across. Looking forward to my first of many events and meeting up with you and everyone else involved.
