It started as an Indian trade route, became a stagecoach route and is currently one of the premier 4-wheel drive trails in the country. The first vehicle to drive the trail was 1908. Jeeps started regular use of the trail in the ‘50’s soon after WW II.” quoted from the RTF’s “What is the Rubicon Trail”. In my words, it’s adventure at its purest form. I have seen hikers, bikers, and almost every imaginable off road vehicle on the Rubicon Trail since 1998 and the G Crew looks forward to seeing your scaler “doin’ work” at the Cantina for the Con fundraiser. Come get your scale adventure fix, in the Axial Taquitos Grandito RECON G6! |

I'm in, I haven't been to the Rubicon since I sold my rig 5 years ago. Is it true you can drive a stock truck through the Rubicon without any problems?

well after the UAR Race this past weekend and showing people how second gear worksand how to drift at about 30mph with a pro4 4600 and rc4wd 2 speed transmission, I've got a lot of stuff to get fixed up. Need new wraith rails, vp titanium links, bent a shock shaft, another axle housing, and a new mip front shaft for the 1.9 wraith It should be all ready to go though. Second gear all day long! |
