I will be there representing E.S.P! I had an electronic failure last year (my own fault) and spent most of the day working on my Jeep and failed to finish. I was all excited and put all new stuff on it the night before and wound up sabatoging my own run😞 So this year I simplified things lol! I've already got the truck dialed in other than tires and I geared it ridiculously low (tractor slow) so I won't be tempted to rush. I plan on taking my time and cruising it like a Sunday drive!  Anyone gonna show up with multiple rigs? Trailers?

Went out today and did alittle RECON around paulina lake area.... From deschutes river woods its about 35 miles to paulina lake. There are 2 paved snow parks on the way there.... 6 and 10 mile snow parks. Both have bathrooms and 10 mile snow park has two levels. If you put them together they are bigger than a football field. There will be more than enough places to camp. Paulina lake campground was packed so i went to paulina falls and took a few pics to show everyone. Last edited by k goodrich; 08-31-2014 at 09:21 PM. |

Few more.... there about 60 different trails in the area so it's had to say where Parker is going to do. |

Well right on. Thanks for that! I'm bringing my 34ft RV, so room to camp is good. How far off of 58 & 97 is this roughly....or is it closer to Bend?? |

Hotrodvw.... When you come over 58 take the cresent turn off. Hit 97 and go north on 97 through lapine. Just past lapine there will be a road to Newberry crater. Take that, it is called road 21. Ten miles up that road is the second snow park that is huge. It's about a ten minute drive to paulia lake from there. So from there who knows .... it depends on Parker.

Anybody have an idea on how to volunteer at the event? I would like to attend, but my rig is currently down and in the middle of a complete build. I'm willing, able, and wanting to lend a hand for a few hours...

Does anyone know what time it starts? I am thinking of doing it but wonder if I should drive down from Portland the day of or night before, if it is an early start.
