With the proper promotion it would not be an issue at all. I think it is just a logistics thing on Axials part.

If Axial did come back to the East Coast I know a place that they can have it. 72,000 Acre Off Road Park in Oliver Springs, Tn! 300 Miles of OHV Trails to choose from.

I'm sad... My boys and I will miss this one. I've gone every year since WCC in 2009. I'll be fishing for king salmon in Alaska.

It would be VERY advisable to bring your own food. There is a small store at the campground that carries a small bit of food, and I believe there is a minimart gas station across the way. The next closest town is Truckee about 30 minutes from the Cisco Grove Campground.

I'm assuming you are camping, so just pack food like you would for camping. Are you driving up from Phoenix? If so, you can grocery shop in Reno or Truckee before you get to Cisco Grove.

How do you guys charge your batteries? I can't imagine that everyone hooks a charger to their car battery...

When is more info going to come out for this year? It is already almost March... I need to start planning and getting my rigs squared away.

Axialfest is at a campground. Almost everyone gets a camp space and camps out. Spots are $30/night, so some people like to share spots to split the costs. Each campsite has water and power, so you can bring a power strip and plug all your chargers in.

Some info from Axial is here: https://m.facebook.com/?_rdr#!/profi...06299382978745

Any other questions feel free to ask. I've been every year.

Looking at renting a cabin at the Snowflower RV resort in Emigrant Gap, just down the road from Cisco Grove. Anybody stayed there?

Will be my first time to Axialfest, so any information on what'll be needed there is appreciated. Flying in from Texas to Sacramento & renting a car for the stay.
