The best bet is if you have FB, shoot Parker a message that way.

Ya know I was gonna avoid putting this up here but it's gonna need to be said.

Patience is a virtue, yes do we all get frustrated with parker when we find out the first g6 is in 11 days with no forewarning about it. This when's the stl event is getting old. Quickly. Don't like that it's not posted a month ahead of time, host your own event. You take on the headache, I've done it, it's not easy. Cut him some slack and move on in life. You're making toy cars way too serious.

I've posted a few questions over on FB ... no response at all.

I'm starting to wonder what's going on. My only guess is Parker might be getting burnt out on all this G6 stuff. And if he was, I wouldn't blame him at all. He's been constantly on the road LIVING the G6 life for a few years now. I know I couldn't do it. for more than a year.

Anyway, I'm looking for info on the St. Louis G6 as well. I went to it Last year and had an absolute blast. Its less than a month away and I can't find any info on it anywhere other than it' s supposed to be on April 18th.

Has anyone heard anything?

Location? Theme? any details?

I'd like to start planning the trip and reserve a hotel room but the way things are going and with less than a month to go there is nothing that really says this event is even going to happen.

So if anyone knows anything about this please post it here ASAP.

Very well put.

I wish I could take a year off from my full time job to go setup and run G6 events. Give Parker some time for rest and a recharge. Unfortunately real life responsibilities stop me from even dreaming about that. The last time I even had time to drive a scaler was at last years St. Louis G6. its been a long rough year.

Maybe it would be a good thing for everyone if "Recon G6 Sanctioned and supported" events could be created, setup and run by Local groups with the promotion and sponsor support of the Recon G6 organization. This would allow for more G6's to take place in a broader range of places. And give Parker a rest from traveling to Scout and manage so many events.

Individuals or groups could fill out applications for hosting a Recon G6 event. Take a bunch of Pictures or videos of the course and trails they have to offer. Take care of land use permission or permits, deal with food vendors, restrooms, parking, List local hotel and dining options. and what ever else needs to be done to make the event happen.

I'd Love to see a Chicago / Milwaukee area G6 event take place. We do have some very good spots to hold one. I'd have to check on land use permission though.

Any thoughts from the peanut gallery?

Well said there ION.
And you are right, it is a lot of work, more work than most realize.

Everyone must remember there is a thing in this world called "PARKER TIME"

It comes with FREE with your G6 adventure!

Trust me i know how hard it is to set up events. But I do know to put forth the who, what, when, and where.

If he is trying to keep everyone on their toes, he's doing a damn good job of it. From what I remember last years event had to switch spots because crappy weather.

If I'm taking toy cars to serious, you're taking my post to serious. Btw its to not too.

Then host your own g6, yes people YOU can indeed host a g6, it just takes a little of you asking mr. Parker for his good gracious. Then you can have people complaining over the Internet to you. He won't have to do anything, just sit back and watch people like you complain that the sky wasn't a sky blue color at the time they finished the course or about everything else possible to complain about.

Go ahead I dare ya.

Mizmike,

Here ya go big guy.... maybe some education on a Saturday morning for ya!

To vs. too

To is a versatile preposition. A few of its many definitions are (1) toward, (2) reaching as far as, and (3) until.1 Too is an adverb meaning (1) additionally, (2) excessively, (3) very, or (4) extremely.2 Whenever you’re in doubt about whether to use to or too, see if any of those synonyms of too (i.e., additionally, extremely, etc.) would work in its place. If none fits, then to is probably the word you’re looking for.
Usually when someone uses to in place of too or vice-versa, it is simply a typo or an error made in a careless moment, so let’s not be too hard on people who occasionally mix them up. None of us is immune to such mistakes. When the mixup is habitual, however, it is a problem. Most people who speak English as a first language master the distinction in primary school, so the mixup can make one look either poorly educated or like a very unpracticed writer, which can be devastating when it comes to college applications or job-application cover letters.

So "too" was correct. Meaning you are taking this excessively seriously.
