Sierra Trek offers a unique scale adventure experience. The 48th Annual Sierra Trek takes place on the infamous Fordyce Trail. One of the toughest 4x4 trails on the planet. Taking place in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains at Meadow Lake, the Sierra Trek Scavenger Hunt RG6 puts the adventure in scale adventure with something for everyone & we are honored to be a part of the Sierra Trek Family Fun.

Sierra Trek Scavenger Hunt Intel

What - A G6 Style event hosted by Parker
When - August 8th, 2015
Where - From Truckee, CA; Bing Maps - Driving Directions, Traffic and Road Conditions
Note: There are other routes, but may require high clearance 4x4 vehicles. If you are gonna follow your own navigational system, make sure you start from Truckee, CA & follow the route via Meadow Lake Rd. It is 2wd friendly with some caution.
Lodging - Camping; tent, camper, 5th wheel. Porta-potties and showers are available. Showers are donation based & well worth it.
Driver Check In - 10am to 11am
G Fee- Day & Night Stage - Adults: $35.00, Kids 15 & under: $20.00. (online registration)
Day or Night Stage - Adults:$25.00, Kids 15 & under: $15.00. (online registration)
Onsite Registration is an additional $5.00.

Classes - 1.9 / 2.2 Adventurist - For all 1.9 & 2.2 sized wheels to have fun & adventure.

40 & Over Veterans Class - For all our seasoned scale adventure drivers to enjoy.

Team Challenge - A team of 3 drivers with their own scale adventure rigs working together to complete unique skill challenges and complete the G6 stage and earn Team of the Day honors. A team can be 3 friends, 3 club members, or 3 hobby shop employees, but remember, its a team effort. All 3 drivers must start together, stay together, & finish together. All repairs must be made on stage. If a truck cannot be repaired, a team must tow that vehicle thru the rest of the stage or suffer the fate of a DNF. Grab your buddies and get ready to share a unique G6 stage experience.
Day Stage Start - Drivers Meeting at 11:15am followed by National Anthem, then the infamous Sierra Trek Parade Start.
Night Stage Start - 30 mins after the Sierra Trek Raffle.

Stage Intel
A tow strap is mandatory.
5 scale items is mandatory.
A scale Cal 4 wheel drive sticker is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
5 Scale Scavenger Hunt Items, not mandatory, but highly recommended - 1. Camera/Phone. 2. toilet paper 3. wig. 4. firewood. 5. a bar of soap.
The ability to take pictures of found Scavenger Hunt Items, not mandatory, but highly recommended.
Pre register is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

Note: You will get a scavenger hunt item list when you check in on Saturday. If you participate in all the “not mandatory, but highly recommended” tasks, you will be eligible to win $100 dollars worth of Sierra Trek raffle tickets & other special offerings. If you register the day of, you will still be eligible for cool swag.
