With more unusual phenomenon than you can stir with a stick, there is no doubt that something is going on here. What many are unaware of is that the path of the skinwalkers is anticipated to go up and over Bald Mountain. Bald Mountain’s flat top, suggests a quick & accessible landing area for UFO’s. The unusual occurrences here are never been documented and dismissed as mere hiking tales. G6ers are about to find out if the unspoken tales are as true as they are terrifying. What - Axial RECON G6 Scale Adventure Event.
When - Saturday August 15, 2015
Where - From Salt Lake City, UT - Bing Maps - Driving Directions, Traffic and Road Conditions
Camping/Lodging - There are several campgrounds along Utah Hwy 150 / Mirror Lake Highway. These range from $14 to $18 a night.
Recreational Pass - A recreational pass must be purchased for this event. a 3 day pass is available for $6 at several self service fee tubes.
Driver Check In - 9am
Day Stage Start - Immedeatly following drivers meeting. (aprx 10-10:30am)
Night Stage Start - To Announced at day stage drivers meeting.
G Fee- Day & Night Stage - Adults: $35.00, Kids 15 & under: $20.00. (online registration)
Day or Night Stage - Adults:$25.00, Kids 15 & under: $15.00. (online registration)
Onsite Registration is an additional $5.00.

40 & Over Veterans Class - For all our seasoned scale adventure drivers to enjoy.

Team Challenge - A team of 3 drivers with their own scale adventure rigs working together to complete unique skill challenges and complete the G6 stage and earn Team of the Day honors. A team can be 3 friends, 3 club members, or 3 hobby shop employees, but remember, its a team effort. All 3 drivers must start together, stay together, & finish together. All repairs must be made on stage. If a truck cannot be repaired, a team must tow that vehicle thru the rest of the stage or suffer the fate of a DNF. Grab your buddies and get ready to share a unique G6 stage experience.

Note - Awards Ceremony & Finishing prizes will take place at 3pm at G Central.

Stage Intel
A tow strap is mandatory.
5 scale items is mandatory.
Not mandatory, but highly recommended - a scale cow or cow related item is required. This could be anything from a rope to a cowbell to a hamburger patty.
Not mandatory, but highly recommended - a scale native american item.
Not mandatory, but highly recommended - a wooden glider. these can be found locally at West Valley Hobbies.
Headlamps / Flashlights are mandatory for the night stage.

Whether you are a believer or not, there are things that can’t be explained in today’s world. Skinwalkers is believed to be a curse placed on the Unita Indians by the Navajo. Curse or no curse, UFO’s or not, we are gonna have a scale adventure that is out of this world. We will see you getting your scale adventure fix, in the Axial Skinwalker Curse RECON G6.

One day event with two stages yes.. I went to my first Recon G6 event in Moab a few months ago and it was a blast! DRIVNMF AKA Brian Parker does a great job setting up the course! Be prepared for some unexpected twists to the trail! I almost didn't run the night stage but was glad I did! I happen to be the grand prize winner of a new SCX10 Falken G6!

Had a hell of a day event with problems all over the place. But the night comp went flawless. ALl Around a great ****ing time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Parker and T-Money for putting it together. Was kind of disappointed with the turnout, but I guess people get nervous when I'm there knowing my skillset
