ZNO RC Wing Eliminator Kit?

Hello all,

I got the Wing Eliminator Kit from ZNO - and now I am not 100% sure how to install on the stock chassis. Would anyone please give details (or have pictures)?

The ZNO website shows only how its installed on their custom chassis kit...

Thank you all!

PS: Sorry for the "newbie" question...

it mounts in the top two holes of the gearbox.

I've never had my hands on one of their kits personally, but the concept is...you mount the link mount to the gearbox, then you make/create 2 upper links with a rod end on each side, mount one of those ends to the gearbox mount, the other end to the chassis.

Thank you both. The gearbox part is clear - but where do I connect the rods to the chassis?

The main question is: on the chassis the links on the ZNO Website are mounted on the inside to the chassis - however their chassis is not stock.

Which holes do I use to mount on the inside? Do I need to move first one of the two rods which connect the chassis? Where?

Please advise - a pict would be best if possible...

Thank you again.

That's where experimentation will come into play. Try mounting them in different configurations, or in a place where they'll work.

jsowens, you are right: thank you. For now I have just removed two of the four chassis crossbars (the ones closest to the gearbox) and I used their mounting holes. Maybe it will work fine with only one crossbar front and one in the back?

For now it looks good...

Yes this kit is definately made to be used with some imagination. the chassis connecting cross bars are not critical so you can remove one of them and use the holes as you did. The pics on the website are correct however and the chassis on those pics is actually a factory chassis that has been painted black and is using the narrow chassis kit.

Here is another link to some better pics in a build we did awhile back.

I hope this helps.
