KK heres what i bought 2 x Redcat RS10 Optional Steel Gear Set 1 x CYS Hi-torque Metal Gear Servo 1 x Redcat RS10 Optional 8T Pinion Gear Set 1 x Redcat Racing Rockslide RS10 Crawler Good to go? gonna make my own rear steer lockout and use that channel for a dig =) somehow anyway. |

Looks like you have it covered, unless you want to spend a lot more lol. Might want to look for some tires as well.

same boat here lol. If you have to use the stock tires I have heard people soak them in wd or simple green to soften them up. I am not sure how long, maybe someone can chime in that knows.

the tire soaking in wd40 will soften them. leave them on the wheels to prevent the bead from expanding. the wd40 will make the tires swell up a bit. so with that said the bead will swell as well. i soaked a set not mounted and they grew a half inch in height and the bead would fit better on a 2.8'' wheel. some tires swell more then others. put them in some zip lock bags, spray them down good. make sure they are fully coated and let them soak 12-16 hours. i usually stick with the 12 hours.leave them some where in sight so you dont forget about them.after the soak clean them up really well, then soak them in simple green over night. they will be alot softer and the simple green will make them super tacky. i would try this before cutting the foams. i use both these methods on all my tires often.

I can make you some tires for cheap! / free check out my thread in the tire section . I was actually looking for my rs10 stocker because I thought the side walls would be great doners
