Plastic axles aren't entirely a bad thing. They slide over rocks really well and you typically don't hear a lot about people breaking axle housings. The bad thing is plastic gears in the housings...pop some metal gears in there and things are much better. Bullies and bergs are nice axles, I just can't see myself spending that kind of cash to get a set of them running properly.

Essentially you would be building a whole new rig around those axles. I wouldn't bother to use anything from the rs10.

X2. First of all you'd be dealing with a heavier rig and would need a much better servo or set of servos. Those are a great set of axles, but I agree with Jer and would suggest doing a ground up build if you get them. Doesn't make much sense to put a set of axles on a rig that is roughly the same price RTR that the set of axles cost. If you're dead set on picking up some bully axles, my advice is to either buy a star or wait until you have access to the classifieds on here, stroll through the classifieds getting parts piece by piece as you find good deals, buy some delrin rod and learn to make links, and then you'll have an awesome rig.
