Exclamation a little help please

hello all i am new to the rc crawler world. i just recently purchased the new redcat rs10 xt and i am pretty satisfied put i broke the yellow wire on the the front motor and repaired it but it started the quest of upgrades and i ve been reading on this forum as much as i could stand but i was wondering if its possible to put the 540s of the 1/8 redcat rockslide on my rs10xt and all that is intergrated with a swap like this do i need a new esc or what. also if i upgrade to the 454 as i ve seen on here does that mean new esc. does anybody have experience with the cpe steering servos are they any good. if i could get some sites to get bent links and good tires at a good price that would be great too. i am a fabricator by trade so this world of mods is not to unfamilar an plan on moding this thing to the max and will be posting pics on here as i go with some write ups if possible if time allows. anyways thanks in advance an keep on wheeeling guys an gals
