What keeps it from rocking back and forth in a flop?

Ok so the top will look good after you put the monster skin on it. I would skin the sides also by taking out the two LCA frame side screws, punching two holes in skin for the bottom and use any of the top holes for a nut and bolt through top of skin. For the hood I would cut out a triangle skin out of black plastic or maybe metal also and zip tie it twice on each side to each UCA, should move with the links well> repeat for rear.

Dude that turned out sick!! Exactly what I had envisioned when I was thinking about it. If you painted the front and rear skins yellow it would POP!

Default Inspired

Inspired by tyrod_emmons, I did my own ghetto styled roll cage via one thick wire clothes hanger. Turned out pretty sturdy. Will do more work on it but here's what I got done so far.
