Default WILDMAN's Build thread

Hey fellas.

Had my rig for a bit now and have been tinkering and modifying... and driving and modifying. Figured it was time for my own build thread!

Here are some pics as it sits right now.

Stock ESC, Flysky radio gear, some smaller Nimh bat's till i get my thunder charger, Rovers all around, AX 10 shocks

Custom AX-10 chassis. HORRIBLE links. Need to get going on some custom ones.

Just got LittleE to send me his old chassis plates so I am going to get to working on those and get some links made up so I can properly run the rig.

I would like to swap out the body, add some beefed up gears and 540's, alu knuckles, eventually a nicer ESC BEC and dig.

Wheels too...

Thanks for looking fellas and I will keep this updated as I tinker and have fun with this thing!

I like the way the lowers are triangulated now, gives a bit more room for the tires. I'm liking it so far. I also agree about the body......never have even run mine its so fugly! I'm going to build a narrow topless chassis soon.

The upper links are what are killing me.

When I get LittleE's chassis i am going to make some bitchin new links so I can run this rig.

I think I may switch to Sedonas once these rovers are dead.

The chassis I sent you, like I pmed you isn't the best thing in the world. I rushed extremely when I built it, the wholes aren't all pretty and even and I also had it set up specifically for my rig and I run a little longer links than stock so your wheelbase may be a little short until you make new ones.

Ok bringing this back from the dead

Was trying to sell the poor little guy but just cant do it sooo

REBUILD!

Going to try a stock AX10 chassis with some custom links and see how it works. My skills in link building have been improved so I want to get this beast going. I have a connection to get a bunch of rock for a backyard course as well. Want to run this rig hard.
