Axial axle stubs should fit. I can do some measuring tonight if you'd like. The original RS10 came with 10t pinions and the XT comes with 8t.

The original RS10 didn't come 4-linked and had those ugly wing things over each axle. The XT came stock with a 4 link mount on the axle. That's the best way to tell, unless you bought it used and already 4 linked. Either way, the easiest way to find out how many teeth your pinions are is to take off the little cover that fits over top of the pinion, then count the teeth.
