| The Boy's RS 10
Hey guys, I bought my son a RS 10 for Christmas. I don't like the stock body so I picked up a 72' chevy c-10 from proline. It looks better in person. The camera shows all the dust and imperfections. All I have done to it so far is fit the body, my wife says I have already driven it too much! He has a broken radio shack jeep crawler that we have done many mods to. It will probably donate its body as well. Can't wait to get this thing outside and see what it can do. I have a me built, clod axled, Dingo bodied contraption that we have been "sharing" since he killed the servo in his jeep. When you have a 6 y/o sharing is mostly me watching him drive . Thanks for looking and if you are interested I may post pics of mine in the clod section. Link to pics: My Torsion Crawler Last edited by EL PHANTASMO; 12-14-2011 at 07:37 AM. Reason: Add link |

ThE NB body works, but it sits high, looks dorky and is rather brittle, mine is all broke up now. the lexans look great and hold up well, the scale is almost prefect, i am thinking about pickup some scaler tires and wheels for mine just to try them out. going to the lexan body was my best move.

AWESOME!! I got my son one also, for christmas.... my wife wouldn't let me "test drive" it. So I ordered one for myself and she intercepted it and told me I can't have it until our son gets his... It's pretty funny. That body looks awesome!! |

I like that body. I've used it on a couple of trucks myself. It looks good on there! Pro-line also makes a crawler version of that body. I was going to get it for my RS but went with the bug body instead. Last edited by BackToThePast; 12-13-2011 at 04:17 PM. |

Thanks for the comments guys, I will post some action shots after Christmas! I am going to post some pics of my crawler in the clod section. Please check it out and see if you think it can hang with the RS 10. |

Well my son LOVES his rs10. Everyone was right, that thing will flat go! For a $160 you can't beat it! He lost the rear servo after about two hours, so we threw on an old futaba, and he is back in business. I wan't to thank you guys for posting all of your pics and info, they have helped me immensely! I am considering selling my dingo/clod, because I have an scx10 on the way. I feel the urge to have a more scale rig, but it will have to be as capable as the rs10! Have a Happy New Year! |
