Question trying something out with my rs10...... . .

So I have been going through a lot of the builds going on and I'm very impressed in what I see.. It's got me wanting to do a lil som som of my own... haha.. so this is what I got so far ... Hope u guys can see my pictures......let me know what ya think... Ideas ....

Is it just me or do the shocks get stiffer straight up n down...

In terms of the shocks...if they're vertical the only movement they make is just their sprung travel. In the stock form of the RS10 the shocks are at more of an angle, so the movement of the shocks is a combination of shock sprung travel and the shocks pivoting. If that makes sense. So yeah, they will appear stiffer having them vertical and your articulation will be less.

they dont really get any stiffer, the geometry/leverage is changed-less leverage=harder to compress

It's tube. Pretty sturdy, but one of the welds broke. Maybe from the hollow part. Need to reweld.

Haha yeah. Solder.. probly why it snapped in me. ... is there something to get a stronger hold on copper. It's all I had on hand ...

Brazing rod. High silver content is good but old stuff with lots of lead is easy to work with..... mmmmmmmm lead

Mocked up Some suspension mounts for the front. .. you can also see where my solder snapped at the corners... Put some aluminum rods inside to hold in place for the mock-up
