About start my frame rails on my rs10 will a dodge RAM mega body work on this?

what scale??? honestly, short answer....Yes. 1/8th scale looks the best for a scaler, 1/10th is the scale of the stock body. if you are building you own frame, you can put anything you want on there, heck you could put a barbie Corvette on there if you really felt the need too.

My suggestion is to actually settle on a body you plan on using before actually building the frame rails. That way there will be no guess work on whether or not it'll fit. If you have the body in front of you, you can get your measurements and make the frame rails right the first time.

oh, i figured you had one, yeah chances are slim, seems the fords are the popular ones. trust me, if i cold find a early 90's explorer or a early 00's Dakota, i would be all over it.

Yep he is correct. I would like to see 92-94 explorers. I have two 1:1 rigs that are explorers. A 93 mud/hunting rig and a 94 crawler rig. Work hasn't started on the 94 yet. Darn RC hobby is in the way lmao Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk |

i used to crawl in my bone stock 91 explorer. all i did was build me some perma lock front hubs. miss that rig, loved it in the snow and on the ice./

ebay, but your will either get a proline or HPI for lexan bodies. when i got my 73 bronco body of ebay it came with the cage, slides, axial frame extensions and body mounts. all for like 50 bucks shipped. if you are lucky you can pick up a newbright or fastlane 1/8th body, but expect to pay over 100 bucks for it.
