| Tuning the stock chassis So, the stock RS-10 chassis doesn't come with a whole lot of tuning options built into it. It's entire design is based on the stock On-the-link shock mounts and high ride height. BUT, That doesn't mean you can't make it better. It's just two aluminium plates. You can cut and drill whatever you like on it!! For example; A lot of guys drill a hole in the furthest front and rear points of the chassis for a new shock mounting point, closer to the axles, to do the shock-to-axle-mount mod. Some guys even add extensions on to the chassis to get a more 'scale' setup. If its a higher belly clearance AND/OR lower center of gravity that you are after, you can cut down the chassis to give it a lower profile. If you plan to do this, try to plan out where you want to mount your links and shocks first, before you go cutting out something important. Here's a few examples of how some members have customized their chassis setups; If you have a custom Chopped RS-10 chassis on your ride ******POST IT HERE****** Jason "The Jackalope" |

has anyone used the zno-rc narrowed chassis setup or their chassis plates? wondering how well the stock would be narrowed.
