as for the wheel hexes, If you superglue the hexes into the plastic wheels (forget bout the grub screw) it fills in the extra space and mine are good for about 3 or 4 months before I need to touch em up. That'll let ya keep the stock wheels for a little longer.

Took my crawler for a quick spin on the rocks this morning, I managed to wear through the front pinions again or maybe its just slipping on the motor shaft as it was still turning but had no power. at the same time the pinion gave it also snapped a ball joint. This was the first time I tried it with both front and rear links on and it was going great. That little extra reach to get the tyre on top of the next rock helped so much. |

So i got tiered of my redcat axles and ordered a set of Super Bully axles from RC4wd, I have started modelling them and plan to build my own crawler from the axles up over the next month or so. I need to look up the rules so i can design something that complies. I will also be able to make the rockslide almost stock again so i can go crawling with my misses. |

I have been wanting to build a Super for a while now and designed a chassis which i attempted to make today. Unfortunately me cutting technique isn't up to par and the rear end of it got hot and separated the carbon layers so i plan to trim the ends down and use this chassis for my redcat. So after 2 end mills and a very blunt drill (I need to invest in some good quality tools), one side of the chassis was cut out. I think it will suit the redcat well once i trim the ends down a bit |
