2.2 is the size
this refers to the inside diameter of the tire

normally about 2 inches wide and about 5 inches tall for rock crawling
some are taller, up to 5.5 and a couple almost 6 inches tall

the most popular seems to be the hot bodies rover tires with the white dot, the pink dot are way softer but a bit smaller in diameter
the sedonas are also good as are the panther leopards. if you have money to spend, the voodoos are maybe the best tires so far
the stock tires use a stiffer rubber compound than what is needed, even taking out the foams and cutting up the treads (siping) only
help a little bit. at about 20.00 a pair of rovers you cannot go wrong
