cpe hardened pins

So my axle is completely torn down and where I think the cpe hardened pins go it appears to already have metal pins. is this normal?

Yes. They come with metal drive pins, but it is a low grade metal and they break quickly.

Also, when they break they will spin and destroy the plastic side plates for the gear and it sucks.:cry:
