Any axle housing swaps?

Has anyone swapped different axle housings onto their Everest 10? I'm having to replace one of mine and was wondering if I should just go back with stock or a stronger/better option. I'm hoping to find one pretty close to the stock width. Thanks.

I've seen a few pics on Facebook of scx10 axles swapped to an e10. Seems like they fit good.

Thanks, I'll look into that. I noticed on the paperwork that came with the truck, Redcat makes aluminum housings, but I have yet to find them online. From the picture, it looks as though it's the same mold, which would have the same points that hang up on everything.

The aluminum housings are expensive ($60 plus). You might consider trying to repair your current housing with JB weld or something like that.

Damn, those are no longer an option. Thanks. I'm not wanting to put much money into this truck. It was cheap, but performs great. I'm m just trying a few cheap/free mods to help it out a bit.

I bet you can just fill the holes with some silicone and run it the way it is. Shouldn't be an issue. Jb weld for a more permanent fix.

I might do that for now. I'm planning on running it tomorrow night.

I used the 2 part putty to fill the holes on mine
