Default 3s Lipo?

My son has a gen7 pro and was wondering about using a 3s lipo. Will the electronics hold up ok. Anyone running 3s?

2-3S lipo rated as per Redcat and since it's basically a Hobbywing WP1060 ESC, similar to what comes with Ascender RTR, yes it will be fine and way more fun on 3S!

Everest-Gen7

Here's some great ProTek RC 3S 100C Silicon Graphene HV Shorty LiPo Battery (11.4V/3600mAh), I know these are more pricey than some options but worth every penny imo.
