Question Beef Tubes in Everest?

Since the Everest (both the Gen7 and the E10) axles are a close facsimile of the SCX10 axles, has anyone tried to install the SCX10 Beef Tubes (BT003B) in them?

I was told boom racing fat axles are bolt on. I haven't personally tried a pair.

I can't tell you if beef tubes can be made to work in the Everest axle housings. I know some people have made their own using 1/8 brass nipple.

Here is a link to my review of the xtra speed axle housings which are a similar product to the boom racing one. Xtra speed "steel" SCX10 axle housing for everest 10

I installed scx10 narrow xr mod beef tubes in both my boys E10 axles in the last couple weeks. Only minor trimming was needed after cutting the ends of the housing off (normal for the xr mod tubes). I installed plastic Axial XR10 chubs / knuckles / u-joint axle shafts to result in the Narrow XR mod Steering.

I have also installed diy tubes in their rear axles using schedule 80 (.080” wall - thicker and heavier) 1/8” brass pipe nipple (ordered from amazon. I just measured and cut the tubes to fit between the diff and stepdown in the housing where the chubs screw in. These didn’t need screwed in at all, they just sit in there, captured by the housing halves clamped together. I think one side was 39mm long and the other was 41mm long.
