Default Aluminum steering upgrades

I upgraded my steering c hubs and steering knuckles, the plastic ones which come standard on most redcat/exceed/hsp crawlers/trailers are thick and hit hub screws impeding on turning angles.
I bought the cheap hsp crawler upgrade ones from China on eBay for less then $20! I was amazed at how they increased the angle of steering.
I did this to an hsp rgt 18000 Rock Hammer, which shares axles etc w E10 and max stone among many others.
And they look cool!

I don't believe you. There aren't any pictures here.

You can get the same results by trimming the stock knuckles and using countersunk screws in the chubs, but the aluminum sure does look nice

Haven’t figured out how to post pics here 😳
But need to put bend in steering linkage now cause it hits axle pumpkin which means making it longer. Can u cut the links and screw in ends on the typical hsp/redcat ones? Any ideas anyone?

On my links, there was room to trim a few mm off each end but do so at your own risk. I think there's only 10-15mm of thread in the end of the links.

Also, are you planning to trim then add an extension to the drag link or what's the plan here?
