I liked to start by thanking nobody79 for having a great honcho conversion on the gen7. I will post daily updates on the conversion. Stay tuned. Got some things done Some update pics. Cut front a rear bumper. Will be adding the endos on the rear. Also started on my cage I am undecided if to run a spare or not. Any input would be much appreciated. Cage coming along. DIY bender. That looks real nice. What did you fab that cage out of? I don’t have a creative bone in my body so I appreciate your creation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That looks great. Did you use the aluminum brazing rods from harbor freight? I made a roll bar with two down bars from aluminum rod. It lasted 1 day, 1 good tumble and it bent all to crap. Plus with the hinged cab it made it really hard to get the battery in and out so I scrapped it. If I had added few more braces then it probably would have been stronger. We turned my sons gen7 body into an ext cab pickup. I didnt feel like building him a rear cage. LoL |
