| Transmission help Redcat Gen 7
New to hobby. Recently purchased a Gen 7... finally got the front end to stay together and stripped a gear in the transmission. Going to add the steel gear set. Anyone have experience adding a slipper clutch to this set up? I watched a video on youtube, but uncertain about ECX Boost ECX 1024 he used. Doesn't look like the Axial unit will work. Before I just spend money I am hoping someone can offer some advice based on a conversion. Additionally, any drive shafts that are just bomber that will work with this unit? Thanks in advance |

I have the steel gears and havent had a single problem out of them. Unless you are just dead set on a slipper, I would just run the new gears and call it good unless you were still having problems.
