Default axial parts in my everest axles

I'm building a scale right that came stock with 1/18 clone mrc axles but the rest is 1/10. So it get it how I want it is have some everest axle on the way cause I got them 20 to 30 cheaper then scx10 axles.

I know axial parts fit, c-hub need the housing trimmed down a tad to fit, which I'm guessing will be the same for rear lockouts.

But what about axial axle shafts? Od/Ud gears? Beef tubes? Trusses? Steering links?

Has anyone tried any or will I be doing some R&D?

Look through the "deeper look at the everest 10" I think it's stickied on this page. But the answer to your question is yes. I haven't found anything to not fit. The ring and pinion out of a e10 I cannot get to work in an axial housing

I figured after I talked to you, thanks for answering tho. I think I will start a rebuild thread when I go to add the everest 10 axles to my rgt rock cruiser. As the should have put 1/10 axles and not 1/18s.

Little update I got my axles, I'm going to tackle the rear axle first which I have parts coming.
Parts list is:
Hot racing spool
Axial HD bevel underdrive gears
Strc lockouts w/ stainless steel axle shafts
Level3rc 4 link mount
Lockeduprc scx10 rear axle bearings

Once they come in I will post pics

Got my spool and HD UD gears yesterday and should get my lockout and axle shafts in today. Then hopefully find time to swap parts out.

Everyone has seen the stock e10 differential and pinion

Here is the hot racing spool and HD bevel underdrive gears

Axial pinion in place

Axial locker and gear with red cat bearings and screws (which are long and needs some trimming)

That's all I got so far still waiting on lockouts and axle shafts, besides that some shimming of the pinion just the get the play out but the gears are butter smooth and will help with torque twist.

I didn't what to file down the stock axle shafts.
going be running lockouts so didn't think the stock shafts would fit inside the lockouts.
If stock shafts did fit it's a two piece axle vs a one piece stainless steel axle.

This axle is going in to a scale rig and not a crawler, plus now I got extra parts for my son's e10 if he breaks something.

How strong are the stick everest 10 axles as compared to the stock axial axles

Only from reading the deeper in to the everest thread, there was talk about someone breaking a filed down (to fit in axial locker) everest axle and hadn't had any problem with axial axle that was installed afterwards. Besides that haven't heard much about axle shafts.

Hopefully I'll have a final axle Friday night, I had to get some bearings for a scx10 the axle bearing was a bit smaller for the lockout. I'll get pics of it all late when I get to finish up.

Well I finally finished the rear. I got some time to work on it.

Fitting the lockouts was a bit tedious. Filed down the numbs so the lockouts slide on was easy cause its plastic. The aluminum took a little more time but only had a file to work with since it was late when I started.

Got both sides done and I also had to get scx10 rear axle bearings for the lockouts I used.

New upper link mount, still need to trim the bottom of the axle and servo post things.

On to the front axle still need to get parts tho.

With the swap to axial gears the pinion need shimming maybe even a small spacer.
I picked up a 20 pack of 5mm shims to get the pinion where it needs to be.

Found the time to shim the rear and since I had it apart figured I would get rid the the post on top and bottom of the axle. Filed smoothish. Also rounded the front one under the pinion and smoothed in to the housing.

Mounted in my scale project

I was going to use them in a 1.9 crawler build but I ended up selling them to fund my scaler.

Ah I was gonna ask to buy them, I'm thinking of doing a 1.55 yj. Axial has 1.55 krawlers that would be like 35s 37s on a yj

You can get 1/18 ecx temper axles, or redcat everest 16 axles all the same.
