Default Redcat Everest 10

This is my son's Everest 10. He wanted a crawler, but did not want something everyone else had. First we added a Redcat Bug body and stock Axial wraith springs to the rear with some no name white springs on the front. A full stainless steel screw kit changed everything to hex for easier maintenance too.

We have changed the lockers and carriers to Axial iron crosses. Added Boom Racing SCX10 lockouts and Axial shafts in the rear. SCX10 upper links and link mount on rear axle because the factory mount was flimsy. Once the brace was added, the upper links were too short so the Axial links were added.

Venom Switch Back tires and foams on the stock wheels. A little hard to mount, but work great.

Stock servo horn replaced with an Axial aluminum version from the parts box.

Still playing around with moving the link mounts around to work on the torque twist, but making progress.

Comments welcome!

put the lower shock mount to the outside of the links. it will be more stable and should reduce the TT a little.

also, its a shame you chopped the servo mount posts off the rear axle, coz they make excellent upper link mounts, of which then the rear uppers get mounted to the outside of the chassis for another improvement in stability.

its a wraith axle i know, but the theory still applies, nearly parallel uppers, and wide spread lowers seems to have removed my TT despite having a semi droop setup rear shock (spring either side of the piston)

hope that helps.

Thanks for the comments. We will try moving the shocks again, but to be honest, I think we have tried about every combination possible. Still have not mirrored the transmission, but it is on the list.

Flip is just spinning the skid around to change the side that the output happens. A mirror does the same, but is a flip that keeps the motor running the same direction and keeps the spur on the same side.
