Well even though it's not been an issue, better is always better? Started printing a new skid last night. Should be done later today. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk |

Try number 3. Last one warped on me. This one almost half and no warp. I should be good. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk |

Good work! So how much will the transfer case be raised to get the skid flat? |

I had to cut a notch in the battery tray to get it to sit flat. Doesn't seem to have made it anymore tippy. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk |

Update on my kids rig. Gen7 upgrade axles on an scx10 chassis. I used the Gen 8 skid and made it work on this chassis. Printed a battery box, CMS, and other odds and ends. I ordered a transfer case and trans for dirt cheap off eBay. It actually fit together rather well. Working on a different CMS that hides the servo in the chassis and moves the servo so I can get a good geometry on the links. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk |

Your blinker in the video seem to bleed light into the body,,,,, i would have a hard dime living with that. It also seem pretty bright, but these things are always hard to judge from a video as the camera could have used just about any exposure setting. I think i would line the body around the blinker with something light cant penetrate that easy, maybe first experiment with some black electrical tape so see if the concept are "holding water". So I ordered some magnets and I evidently can't read because after looking at many different kinds it appears I picked the wrong one. I wanted 20mm but these are 35mm. Oh well these should work great in the garage for tools etc. Sent from my Vivo XI+ using Tapatalk |

My 20mm magnets are probably stuck to the inside of a plane's cargo hold somewhere because USPS has no idea where they are. | |

Yeah getting powerful magnets shipped is hit and miss, I've also got some that I ordered stuck to a Fedex truck somewhere. I had to ask the shipper to pack them better and it still took three tries for them to get to me.

Hehe yeah if you just put a few magnets in a padded envelope you are asking for trouble, hell they might still be in the post box the seller put the letter inside. Just imaging the really big and super strong magnets being shipped, if done wrong they can grab hold of any steel really good. |
