redcat gen 7 diff question Can an unlocked diff be fitted in the gen7 front housing?? Looking to use for a project build and would like to unlock the front.. If so what would be needed?? Thanks |
Re: redcat gen 7 diff question or would I be better off using everest 10 and possibly unlocking the front diff? |
Re: redcat gen 7 diff question E10 and Gen7 use the same axle assemblies, so the effort will be the same either way. I'm not aware of a drop in open diff that works with the axles. Most open diffs are designed to work with outdrives. |
Re: redcat gen 7 diff question wasn't sure if a diff like axial ax10 would work or if a diff from a ground pounder would work... |
Re: redcat gen 7 diff question You should be able to use scx10 diff cup and diff gears you will need scx10 shafts aswell should be a easy mod i have scx10 internals in my rear e10 axle works great https://www.ebay.com/itm/Open-Differ...156?nav=SEARCH I found these on ebay you would still need d a cross pin of some sort but those are the gears theres some gaskets and orings too if you plan on running diff fluid |
