Default Gen8 wheel nuts?

Does the Gen8 normally not come with nuts that hold the wheels on just the plastic hub cover that screws on? I received mine and all it has is the plastic covers no wheel nuts. I’m guessing not since mine came with 2 wheels that had already came loose in the box but figured I’d verify. Mine was kinda a mess tho when I got it 2 pieces of the Velcro had already fallen off and the ESC was no longer stuck to the spot that it should have been and was just floating around under the body. My boy was wanting to drive it so I let him have at it and the wheel fell off and the hub that the wheel sits on is long gone and the pin that holds it to the axel went with it. First impression of the gen8 is not so good. Drove maybe 10 min and now we are down and out until I can round up parts.

There should be a normal 4mm lock nut holding each wheel on. The plastic cover is just cosmetic

Sweet I sent in a warranty claim. Thank you guys for the help I figured it didn’t seem right but it is redcat so I figured when I put the new wheels that I ordered on I would just add wheel nuts. Hopefully they will actually stand behind their product. Just looks like who ever put it together didn’t bother to put the 4mm wheel nuts on.

I got a reply from them asking for the part numbers for the parts I need. Problem is a couple of the parts are not listed on their site and and I’m not sure which pin it is that goes threw the 12mm hex and they don’t have the hex or the 4mm nut listed either. Does anyone have or know where they have an exploded view with part numbers listed?

Thats the long way around and at best your gona end up with a standerd lock nut i would go down to your local hobby shop and get some traxxass locknuts way better they will have the pin too there kinda standerd it might cost $10 or so but you will have them right away and have a simple not realy needed upgrade the stock lock nuts have a tendency to back off on there own
