My gen8 Having a lot of fun with this thing! I went with the gen8 because it was cheap but it actually performs very well. http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...18CEC9ECB0.png http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...CCA6624035.png http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...6E718D9E23.png http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...DE3E45996A.png http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...EC1CF20348.png http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...565CC3DFF6.png |
Re: My gen8 Your G8 looks great, who makes that body? Looks like it was made for the G8. |
Re: My gen8 If you are talking about the truck, I believe that is the new Pro-line Metric body... |

Re: My gen8 Added a RC4WD mini Warn winch/controller and a Tekin ROC412 3100kv. Motor is awesome, very smooth and lots of power on 3s. http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...C5E6DCE63E.png http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...D5E46F32F1.png |

Re: My gen8 Had a wobbly lower link/panhard bar mount. The Exocaged RC (YouTube) homemade brace works like a charm! Hole measurements were on the money prior to making the jog bend. http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...88B130183B.png |
Re: My gen8 Haven’t even had my G8 on the rocks yet and I’m fabbing up an Exo-Brace for mine. I’m trying to get ahead of any possible issues before they occurs. |

Re: My gen8 Brass links from Metal Fab by Reed came today and they looks great! Awesome craftsmanship and the lengths were all perfect. http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...84A4AA2E4A.png http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/...D27D357C11.png |
Re: My gen8 the problem with exocages brace design is it takes the stress off the bracket but transfers the load to a tiny screw in the diff cover i bet that screw only holds maybe 2lbs of force if that i see that screw ether striping or taking out the axle housing itself if the truck takes a big tumble i braced mine off to the upper link mount i did move the track bar to the front side of the bracket then i just used a longer screw from the upper link and ran the extra in to a rod end then bolted the rod end to the lower panhard bar mount way more solid and it wont ruin the axle from a hard fall and that bracket is so ugly it ruins the look of the axle the rod end blends right in with everything else under there https://i.imgur.com/IwYQKkUl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/8w7kciql.jpg the hip mod total beef compaired to total meek |
