Default i finaly opend my g8

ive had this rig in my closet for about a month now and i finnaly opened it and started playin with it there wasent anything funky out of the box just the usaual im up in th3 snow right now and for the first time ever i experianced the frozen foam sindrome first hand i came to tbe conclution they had to go so i took them out problem solved the tires are stiff enuff they dont need foams out of the box maybe once theres some weight added but not bone stock and this thing is climbing ice and snow like its dirt and rock im sure summer time in the desert will be a different story but for now they work so much better my next tire mod will be inproving the siping the siping there is jsut on the surface so ill make them deeper and call it a day ill probly do the steering mods next then make a new panhard bar mount on 5he chassie so i can get a longer link in there and fix the angles although bump steer so far dosent seem like a issue im not that surprized that the body scale is off the wheel base is right on 1/8 scale bit the body is way to wide about a inch to wide then the fender flairs sticking way out there leads me to thinking this rig needs ar60 axles and 2.2 tires just a thought

i did the servo forward mounting and relocated the steering links to below the nuclkle arms i started siping the tires i tryed mounting the 8mm wheel hexs but the hole is to small to fit on all the way so i need to hog them out a bit the rear end was sitting up alittle to high for my tasts so i took the adjusters off the shocks and that droped it just enuff for it to sit right the next mod is gona be making a new panhard mount and a longer panhard bar it will just clear the suspention and moving it forward it wont hit the upper link so it wont need to be bent like the stock one but ill probably still use the stock link with longer rod ends the steering link would hit the diff cover at full compresion so i heated up the rod ends and gave them a slight bend and it works perfict now moving the panhard bar out will make the angle match the steering link angle so it should eliminate the bump steer thats about as far as ive gotten im realy enjoying this rig right out of the box its not perfict but that just give me something to tinker with im thinking ill leave it alone for a while after i do the new panherd link mount and save up some money for the bowhouse skid and the brass outer portal covers and i dont have any more plans as of right now ill have to run it for a while i do have some cosmetic issues i want to fix but thats down the road a bit

lol, It's kinda funny though. Reading it is like someone on a spaz attack.

I somehow get the feeling it's on purpose just to annoy us though.

i tossed some 2.2 hyraxes on just for the hay of it there just to big i moved down to 5" chwamper and the rig handles alot better the tires suck but hay they look good and were extremely cheap and i want to see how long they last before i put them to there original intended use i noticed while i was climbing up steep climbs the pasenger sid3 tire wiuld lift so i added some anti squat to the front end it dosent seem to lift anymore while climbing so i feel better now im getting tired of the body comin off so im gona hide some body clips to keep it on
