Nice innovation, this Gen8 seems to be making some real interest for Redcat, it's my first crawler in a long time and the Scout body sold me but the underlying truck is great so far.

Thanks, we have more Gen8 stuff coming that fix other problems with better design. No carbon copy aluminum link mounts ;)

It's not a bad truck, just a few strange design decisions that need fixing. Aftermarket will take care of it as usual.

the biggest issue i have with the gen8 is the lack of aftermarket support

I really like the SSD parts that I have purchased for my other vehicles. This only means better things to come for the cat. I can't wait but I will. Thank you guys for your aftermarket support in this hobby.

New HD improved design link mounts will be released this week.

Brass portal covers and aluminum knuckles should follow in a few weeks.

what about the c-hubs are you gona fix those too ?
adjustable upper panhard bar mount maybe ?

What's wrong with the C hubs?

I generally dont to carbon copy parts in aluminum as others will do that anyway.

How about axle housings, don't want to pay $70 for one redcat one.

they just seem like a weak link once the knuckles are upgraded and there might be some room for improvement there like how the trx4 Cs tbey bent them for more clearence

that would be nice im holding out for the cast potmetal versions
