AR44's or AR60's? Anybody try this yet? Do you think it would be worth the time and effort? What do you guys think? Before I sell/trade the Gen8. |
Re: AR44's or AR60's? ive been tossing this idea around myself ill probably try it each way the ar44 would be most scale the ar60s would be like a.1:1 on full sized axles so still more scale than portals both would work great in my opinion all it would.take would be some gear changes best of all there reliable the redcat axles are still too new to know how well there gona hold up over time |
Re: AR44's or AR60's? Portals are not to durable is why I'm thinking about changing the axles broken so far; 2 str links 1 lower link mount 2 portal gears 1 plastic portal cover |

the ar44s and ar60s hav3 there problems too but most have been worked out like the gen8 issues will eventualy at this time if you want bulletproof then swap to axial axles or traxxasss axles or just treat the gen8 axles better one guy on here installed the ar44s and sead he like it better for what ever thats worth |
Re: AR44's or AR60's? end points are set. We have a couple really tough hills to climb on our trail. You can't creep up them. Work the throttle and steering and you just might make it. AR60's the only drawback is the width for some spots on the trail. |
