Default Are there metal gears for the everest 16

I blew up the transmission on my 16 and am wondering if there is a metal gear set for it?

The stock one doesn't hold up to 3s brushless power

There are no metal gears for the trans in the Everest 16. Your best luck for it to hold up to brushless 3s power. Would be to find a losi mini crawler trans and metal gears. But will open a can of worms as the outputs are 4 mm not 5 mm like the E16. So some sort of adaptor or drive shaft with 4 mm/5 mm ends. Then will those hold up to your power plant? Also have you swapped to the aluminum spools? That would be your next weak link after you upgrade your trans. Just something to think about.

sounds like your pushing to much power for that rig might be time to get a new rig for your brushless setup ive been running mine bone stock for about 4 years with only one striped locker about 6 months ago ya its slow and gutless but its reliable as all get up and i get about 4 hours out of a 1500 mah pack this is the rig i run when everything else is broken lol

It's an old transmission pushing basically a 1/10 frame now. I guess I just have to figure out a way to put a axial transmission in it

just enjoy it for what it is a mini crawler puting a scx10 trans and motor in it will just kill your axles fast if you want to spend money spend it twards building a new 1/10 scale crawler you will be money ahead in the long run
