Thanks. I think rust is my favorite.

Did a little more rust. Have a little more to go. Then a little washing. Finally have a set of wheels on order to match the front and I siped the front tires to match the back.

Not to create work for you mg(lol), and you may have already thought of doing this, but you should really throw together a custom front bumper. Some steel would rust up beautifully!

Yes I have been trying to think of something unique to build for the bumper. Not sure if I want a kangaroo killer or something more simple. I agree it would be great to rust up.

So after watching Smogs video with tracks on his trx4, I decided I need a snow runner as well.

What you think?

It should float brilliantly on 6 of those. If traction is an issue, which it likely wont be, could you imagine if you chained those things up!?

Unstoppable!!

Nice Video, beautiful dog man! T.P. hooks up well climbing the dirt piles

Right I was thinking chains if we get some ice storm.

Thanks, he's my constant companion. I can't go anywhere without him or he gets crabby

We got 8" of snow last night so I had to try out the 6x6 with the monster truck tires to see how it worked. I was really impressed! So much fun,

Started stage 2 of Beavis's recovery vehicle. Tow truck in process. Next a snow plow.

So while I was working on the tow truck boom I noticed slop in the rear drive shaft. Evidently when I jacked it up for the Chevron I forgot to check the drive shaft angle. Completely hogged out the universal pins. Woops! I thought the reduced run time was due to the cold but I guess not. LoL.

Since I'm planning on keeping it this way for the snow, I decided to move the 2nd transfer case to reduce the angle of the shaft. I moved it ahead an inch and down about 1/4-3/8". Should be good there. When I convert back to crawler tires it should be perfect.

Made some progress on the tow rig. Pretty much just have to take it apart and paint it and rust it up. Winch works. I'm waiting for a couple pieces and I will be putting the snow plow on soon as well.

Tried out the snow plow on the 6x6. Worked great until the screws came loose.
