For grins I threw the 6x6 on the scale. 12lbs! Probably why it plows so good.

I broke the plow last time even though I thought it was loose screws. Turns out it ripped the screws out. I used a link and made a brace to support it better and so far so good. Im suprised it completely pulled out 1" of threads from aluminum. Redcat Power!

Had some snow today so I had to test it out. So much fun. After an hour the motor wasnt even warm. Running stock gearing with a HW1080 and a chinese 21t 550 from amazon. Works really good.

That’s pretty amazing man, it pushes snow way better than I would have expected.

Watched some of your other videos too, pretty cool stuff.

I tried a plow on an scx10 years ago but it didn't work so good. This is pretty heavy so it does pretty good.

Thanks

Working on the plow set up. Added new screws as the one's that come with the plow instantly strip after use. Also added some plow lights. Working on some headlight buckets as well.

Gathering parts for a 4ws Redcat Gen8, and another 6x6. Also painting the body for the 1/4 scale monster truck. Takes a long time with such a big body. Be at least a week or so before I get the paint done. Have been selling off the majority of my collection to keep building and pay the bills.

Been slow going as I have been doing handyman work and it's been slow. Reason being the place I was working shut the doors on the 2nd. 300 people lost their jobs so finding anything is tough. Only 8k people in our City. Closest work I have found is a 45 minute commute one way and I drive a f-150 which gets like 14mpg.

So yah it's been a crazy start to the new year lol.

Sorry to hear about your losing work, I can appreciate the immediate challenges that presents. As a man with skills, I imagine opportunity isn't far off for you. Yeah, driving a truck definitely comes with a cost...

Post up the next Redcat project and/or the Monster! Would love to see it.

Tried out the bigger plow in 5" snow. It worked surprisingly well.
